ニーチェアエックスは、MoscaPartners Variations METAMORPHOSISのグループ展の一員として、初めてミラノデザインウィークに参加します。
伝統的な織物工場でつくられたシート生地と、最新技術を備えた工場で加工された脚部や肘かけ。
それぞれの工程がどのように組み合わさり、1脚の椅子へと形づくられていくのかを見せるインスタレーションです。
パーツをひとつずつ独立して展示することで、
Nychair X の“軽さ”と“折りたたみ構造”がどのように成り立っているのか、
そしてどの部品も欠かせない役割を持っていることが自然と伝わる構成になっています。

Nychair X is joining Milan Design Week for the first time as a part of group exhibition MoscaPartners Variations
The installation retraces the chair’s creation by breaking it down to the separate parts, showing how traditional cotton mills and state-of-the-art factories work together to turn raw materials into an icon of modern design.
This fragmented vision highlights the chair’s lightweight, foldable nature, revealing a pure essence of the chair, where every part plays an important role.
